This page explains which cookies we use on zaka.pt and how you can choose which ones you accept.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. They help the site remember things, such as the items you put in your basket.
Essential cookies
These cookies are always on, because the shop does not work without them. They are used to:
- keep your shopping basket
- remember your cookie choice
- keep your session
Analytics and advertising cookies
These cookies are only switched on after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you do not accept, they are not used.
- Google Analytics (Google): helps us understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.
- Meta pixel (Meta): helps us measure the results of our ads on Meta's platforms.
These services may process data in the United States. Our Privacy policy explains how.
Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer.
You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
List of cookies
Our website sets no cookies of its own: your basket, favourites and cookie choice are kept only in your browser. Only if you press Accept are these cookies used:
- _ga and _ga_<code> (Google Analytics): telling visits apart, 2 years.
- _gcl_au (Google Ads): knowing whether an ad led to a purchase, 90 days.
- _fbp and _fbc (Meta, for Facebook and Instagram): measuring ads and showing relevant ads, 90 days.
